Amina is a business development executive, specialised in international partnerships and commercial and operational strategy. Before joining Forensic Architecture, Amina worked in leadership and strategic roles across the arts and publishing sectors.
Her previous role was Head of Rights at Pluto Press, where she was responsible for all licensing operations and developing partnerships for Pluto’s books in different languages and formats. Prior to that, Amina was Director of Commercial Enterprises at Whitechapel Gallery, where she managed a portfolio of income generating activities including artists’ limited editions artworks, arts sector professional development courses, events, publications as well as the on-site bookshop, café, and restaurant. Amina also held commercial development roles at the Natural History Museum and Yale University Press in London and holds a BA in Political Science from The American University in Cairo and an MA in International and Comparative Legal Studies from SOAS, University of London.
