Robert Trafford

Assistant Director / Communications

Robert, or Bob, is an Assistant Director at Forensic Architecture. As a member of the senior team, he supports team members with project coordination and strategy, particularly supporting projects in their life after publication. Around his management responsibilities, Robert’s role also involves research, writing and editing for scripts and exhibitions, and occasional reporting.

Robert joined Forensic Architecture in 2017, while completing an MA in Investigative Journalism at City, University of London, with distinction. He previously studied Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford, graduating with first class honours.

Before joining Forensic Architecture, Robert was a freelance journalist. His work appeared in The Intercept, The Times, the Independent, Vice, and elsewhere.
