Forensic Architecture is presenting The Battle of Ilovaisk and Russian Strike on the Kyiv TV Tower as part of Survival Kit 13. The festival, entitled “The little bird must be caught”, runs from 3rd September to 16th October 2022. This edition of the festival takes place in the historic city centre of the country’s capital, and is conceived by curator iLiana Fokianaki.

The exhibition explores themes of freedom of speech and sound, as well as various forms of resistance placing the Singing Revolution (1987-1991) and Latvian local history in the context of global processes and our shared present.
