Alicia Suriel Melchor

Ali Suriel Melchor is a researcher, organiser and former lawyer based in London. They are a current PhD candidate at the Centre for Film and Screen in Cambridge, where their research focuses on reproductive labour, critical theory and Black studies. They received an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2022; hold an MA (Hons) in History from Glasgow University, and trained as a financing lawyer at Slaughter and May. They supported Forensic Architecture’s operations and editorial team for over a year.
