Nadia is an architect, urban designer, and researcher. She is a lead researcher in the Plano Negativo Studio in Colombia and is part of the Latin American Network of Forensic and Visual Investigations. She joined Forensic Architecture in 2017 and since then has collaborated in different Latin American investigations, such as the enforced disappearance of the Ayotzinapa students in Mexico, the siege of the Palace of Justice in Colombia in collaboration with the Truth Commission and the case of police violence of Dilan Cruz.
Nadia graduated as an architect from Los Andes University in Colombia and holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Urban Design from the Bartlett at UCL. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at the Architectural Association, focusing on the role of space and representation in assisting and resisting forced migration processes. She has worked internationally across a wide range of scales and disciplines, including art curation, research, architecture, and planning practice.
