Today, UCU members across the UK begin another round of strike action against the increasing marketisation of education, casualisation of labour, excessive workloads, and gender and racial pay gaps within the higher education sector.
As a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London, we stand in solidarity with our fellow colleagues, here and around the UK, as they strike.
We do so, while maintaining our commitment to our collaborating human rights organisations and communities affected by political and colonial violence in the UK, Palestine, Israel, USA, Indonesia, Chile, China, Greece, Colombia and elsewhere. These struggles are linked by courageous acts of resistance against racial, gender and class based inequalities. Our team at Forensic Architecture aspires to listen to, learn from, and contribute to these struggles in the best way we can.
